The weather is the most important in planning your trip to the Bahamas there are so many great web sites out there to get up to date weather, and I will put links to some of the best. However you know what the weather is like right now but, what's more important is what will it be like in an hour, two hours, tomorrow, next week. I have tested this site out many times and find it to be accurate 80% of the time. The reason I like this site so much is because you can plan when you should make your crossing. It predicts the weather a week out 180 hours. The site is "NOAA wave watch III". First you go to the link then click on page info scroll down to [wna us coastal zoom (regional)] then go to nowcast and scroll up & click on animated, then you have the option of wave heights or wind speeds click on one, and last click on go. It will give you a prediction of the wave heights and wind speed for the next week in 3 hour increments great for planning and deciding what day is good for the crossing. Wave watch III link and other good weather sites.
